About the Commission

The Civil Service Commission of the Velocity Interoperability Network is independent of the departments and services it regulates. It sets the standards to which appointments to the civil service are made and upholds the Civil Service Code.

The Commission keeps the grade structure of the service, audits the competitions departments run, decides complaints about recruitment and conduct, and reports each quarter on the size and composition of the workforce.
